Standard 30-day money-back guarantee

Every paid tier includes a 30-day money-back guarantee on the initial purchase. Muster on real incidents for 30 days. If it is not the right fit we will issue a full refund. The Emergency tier is a separate free 72-hour rapid-setup pass — no card required.

The 30-day window begins on the invoice date of the first Muster invoice — the date the department signs the annual contract.

Extended 90-day guarantee — Founding Customer Program

The first 25 departments to sign an annual contract enroll in the Founding Customer Program and receive an extended 90-day money-back guarantee (vs. the standard 30 days). Same terms otherwise — full refund within the window, no conditions.

A refunded Founding Customer department returns its slot to the program — the next enrolling department takes that slot.

What the refund includes

Full refund of the annual fee paid.
Refunds are all-or-nothing within the applicable window — partial refunds are not available.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method (typically the credit card on file at Stripe).

What happens after a refund

The Muster license is terminated. The department loses access to the Muster app + admin console.
Incident data + event logs remain retained per standard retention policy. Occupational exposure records are retained for 30 years post-employment separation per OSHA 1910.1020 and applicable state cancer-presumption statutes — these obligations survive the refund.

After the guarantee window

After the applicable window (30 days for a standard subscription, 90 days for a Founding Customer subscription) closes, annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the current annual term. A department may cancel auto-renewal at any time from the admin console billing page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual term, and Muster access continues through that end date.
